This Arm link tag game is a fun twist on the original game of tag.
Directions For Arm Link Tag
Take the group of kids you have and have them break off into groups of two children. Each group of two stands side by side and links one arm to the other child.
Two children are chosen to be the one it and the one running. The child who is it, is chasing the other child. If the child chasing catches up too and touches the other child, then that child is it.
The child who is running can become safe by linking arms with one of the children in a set of children linking arms. There are now three children linked together. The one who was not linked onto by the child running is now the one who has to run.
The game button button who's got the button is a classic game that kids love. It's simple and fun!
Directions For Kids Game
Have your group of children sit in a circle. Pick one child to be the one in the middle to hold the button.
Each child holds their hands together and the child with the button goes around the circle and puts their hands in the hands of the kids in the circle and secretly places the button in one of the children's hands.
After the child has gone all the way around the circle, the person in the middle says button button who's got the button.
Everyone gets to guess who may have the button. Whomever guesses who has the button is then the child in the middle and gets to start the game over again.
If nobody can guess who has the button then the game starts over again.
This water balloon volleyball game is a great Summer activity. This game would be great for parties, reunions or even just with your family.
Water Balloon Volleyball Game Directions
Slip your group into two teams.
Split each team into groups of two players.
Each group of players have a towel that they hold between them, one player on each end.
To begin the game, have the teams be on either side of a volleyball net. One team starts with a water balloon in one of their groups towels. The two players hold their towel tight and toss the balloon over the net with it.
If the balloon breaks on your side the other team gets a point.
The first team to recieve 15 points wins the game.
Water softball is a great and fun activity to get everyone together to have a good time. Kids will love playing this game and getting wet while doing so too.For this Game and Summer time activity you need to split your group into two teams.
Have bucket full of water for each base and either a slip and slide or a kiddie pool for home plate.The pitcher has a bucket of water and a sponge ball. Before each throw the pitcher dunks the ball in water.The batter has a plastic bat, and the infielders don't need a mitt.Just use softball rules except the runners stick their foot in the buckets of water. A slip and slide is fun for home plate because you can slide into home.
For this fun Game and Summer time water sponge dodgeball activity you need to split your group into two teams.
- Have a few buckets full of water for each team.
- Have three or four large sponge balls.
- Dip the balls in water and line them up in a line down the middle between the two teams.
- Have the two teams line up facing each other, and blow a whistle or say GO to start the game.
- The teams run for the balls and throw them at each other having each team stay on their own side.
- Team members may dip the balls in the buckets of water to keep them wet.
- Once a person is hit by a ball they are out.
- The team with players left without being hit is the winner.
Duck Duck Goose is a Childrens game played with a small group of kids.
Have the group of children sit in a circle. One person is picked to walk around the cirle and touch the head of each child. As they touch each person they either say duck or goose.
If they say duck, the kid touched stays where they are.
If the child touching says goose, both the touched child and the child touching run around the circle. Whomever makes it back to the spot first, where the touched child was sitting, gets to stay sitting in that spot.
The other child is it, and the game starts over again.
Red Rover is a kids game played with a group of people. Split your group in half and form two lines. The lines face each other. One line group decides on a person in the line group and then says the phrase:Red Rover Red RoverSend [ The Name of the person picked ] Right Over
The person who's name has been called runs as fast as they can toward the other line. If they cannot break through, they become part of the opposing teams line. If they can break through, they go back to their line.
